Title: The Careless Caring Catastrophe
Once upon a time in a land not too far away,
Lived a creature named Zee who cared every day.
But Zee had a problem, quite strange and quite new,
Zee cared for the things that no one else knew!
Zee cared for the socks that lost their mates,
And the crumbs left behind on the dinner plates.
Zee cared for the bugs that crawled on the ground,
And the weeds in the garden that others had found.
But one sunny day, as Zee wandered about,
Zee heard a small voice from deep in a spout.
It was a tiny, lost bird with feathers so blue,
Who needed some help, and Zee knew what to do!
Zee cared for the bird, with tender, kind hands,
And built it a nest with the softest of strands.
But as Zee cared for this bird, a thought did ensue,
Was this caring quite right, or all askew?
For while Zee was helping this bird to take flight,
The garden grew wild, with weeds reaching height.
The socks stayed unpaired, the crumbs multiplied,
And Zee realized then, with eyes open wide.
"I've been caring," said Zee, "in the wrong direction,
For things that need help, not affection's reflection.
To care for what matters, I must change my course,
And focus my caring with more thoughtful force."
So Zee set out on a new caring quest,
To help where it mattered, to give it their best.
They cared for their friends, their family, too,
And the world felt the warmth of their caring so true.
Now Zee's known as the one who cares with a plan,
Who directs their caring as best as they can.
For caring's not just about what you do,
But where you put it and who gets it too.
So remember dear reader, in this whimsical rhyme,
To care for the things that truly need your time.
And if ever you find yourself caring astray,
Just refocus your heart, and you'll find the right way.
